Let’s Couple Up: 6 Things We Can Learn From Love Island 2019

Hey loves! Now that Love Island is over for another summer, I thought this post can temporarily fill the void in our lives as I reflect on what we can learn from this series and apply in our own relationships.

1.”Men are trash!”

They most certainly can be heartbreakers that can destroy your lives. How many times have we seen them claim that they are 100% into the girls they are coupled up with…

I was wondering if I could ask your advice on something. Do you have any tips on utilizing an abundance of fixed energy in the chart? Almost all of my personal placements (aside from mars and ascendant, which are both cardinal) are in fixed placements. Unfortunately, this leads to me being able to finish a task, but makes it very difficult to start one, and then even harder to move on. I know I can't "fix" this (no pun intended), but is there a way to use it in a more positive fashion?

i always recommend to people with strong fixed energy that they settle for work or projects that have great long term implications.  Sometimes it’s a good idea to look for the inspiration elsewhere then pick up someone else’s work and try and grow it into something greater.  This kind of thing can help take the pressure off having to start something yourself AND take away the problem with having nothing to work on when your done.  In can be good to work in a job where others give you things to do or you work on projects that others have given up or need some kind of “refining” to become truly great.  You can innovate through renovation; just continually put your personal touch on things.  Always be willing to seek out new ideas or forms of inspirations to carry out.

Saturn and pluto are involved in squares with almost all my personal planets, my saturn is in the 5th house, I have an afflicted 1st house (pluto, lilith, chiron are in the 1st). Although I'm a sagittarius rising, none of his qualities come through because of all the saturn and pluto aspects. I'm also aquarius dominated so I additionally feel like I don't fit into this world. Venus square Saturn, saturn square neptune are only a few squares to mention. Any advises for me? Thank you

Focus strongly on the Chiron wound because learning how to cope with it can help transform your life and empower you in a positive way.  If you don’t want to do it for yourself at least think about doing it so you have things to teach other people; if that helps take the Aquarius edge off.

Hello, what are your thoughts on natal Neptune…

Hello, what are your thoughts on natal Neptune in 7th / Venus in 12th ?

Dangerous combination for most.  There is tendency to attract disillusioned people who are in need of help and care but they can drain your resources dry.  Since Venus is the 12th you can unconsciously be attracted to falling in love with someone like this that is in trouble; often at the disturbance of your own hopes and wishes.  I’d be careful because Venus is 6 signs away from Neptune and it can indicate bad karma from the pairing.  You may lose yourself always offering service to fix a bad situations and still may never come out ahead.

What advice do you have for someone with Satur…

What advice do you have for someone with Saturn in Sagittarius in the 3rd house?

Saturn in Sagittarius placed in 3rd house for Libra Rising will control and stabilize the 3rd house for Libra Ascending.  Normally you would see this position produce someone who can share ideas openly and without a filter; but now it becomes more heavy, serious and focused.  Your ability to communicate may have had restrictions when young such as discipline installed; but you’ll find in your adult life you’ll be more conscious of what you say socially.  This can help make you a better and more stern person of business dealings; which is good for Libra Rising because it rules the marketplace and one on one transaction.

Also your early life education may of been restricted but in your adult years you’ll know yourself better.  You’ll get better value out of learning because you’ll understand what is more important to you and what to ask.  This can give you more focused communication but also just help you to be a better learner because you don’t waste time on what is not important.  Your thoughts will be better organized to write and communicate because you’ll have more organized and structure information; simply because your more attached to it.

You may not the be the most socially involved in the community early in life, but after the age of 30 you’ll feel obligated to open your eyes to the immediate world around you.  Maybe this helps you learn what social environments you’ll better fit into locally based on your own needs; perhaps instead of playing “tag along” early in life or just dealing with a bunch of drama where you don’t really want to be.  You just end up going places in your community that interest YOU so you build better relationships that satisfy your Libra Rising.

So you just have to hang with the limitations and restrictions early in life because something better is coming for you in maturity.

What advice would you give a person with satur…

What advice would you give a person with saturn in gemini and in the third house ?

Learn how to express yourself in a mature manner.  Build your ideas into something productive and constructive.  Ask the rite questions.  Learn how to listen before speaking.  Build your vocabulary and knowledge by being observant.  Teach and share with others only after your sure of what you know.

Travelling to Rome was the best way to begin my travel adventures with my boyfriend as our first trip away together. Rome is a beautiful city, full of sooo many things to see and it is such a great trip if you’re looking for a city break jam packed with activities. This post is to highlight the best of this city, to make it so much easier for you to plan a trip and give you ideas of where to go.

Where to Go

The two main places I firstly had in mind that I knew I had to go to see in Rome was the Colosseum and the Vatican.  Knowing this, two separate days were dedicated to seeing each one and we fitted in everywhere else we wanted to go based on its vicinity to those locations. I highly recommend visiting the Vatican including St Peter’s Basilica, even if you aren’t religious, you can appreciate the amazing beauty in the decor and art.

Here are the other places that are the best places to visit in Rome;

  1. Trevi Fountain – Best place to go to early in the morning, when it isn’t so busy. One thing we forgot to do was bring coins to throw in over our shoulders to follow the traditions.
  2. Pantheon – It’s one of the best preserved buildings from Ancient Rome, an incredible addition to our wander around the city. We didn’t go inside for very long, as it was really busy and therefore I got better view of the beauty of the building outside.
  3. Palatine Hill – This is one of the most Ancient parts of the city according to Google and in my opinion it is worth the little walk up to the top as you can get the most amazing view of the Colosseum.
  4. Piazza Navona – This Piazza was a perfect little spot where we rested from our explorations and enjoyed our ice creams and got some cute shots of the fountains.
  5. Spanish Steps – Honestly we walked by the steps on our first night when we were strolling the area around our hotel, not realising that we were at the Spanish Steps. The view is really pretty, however again it’s really busy there and there are plenty of other pretty fountain displays nearby that you can take pictures and relax around.
  6. Villa Borghese – If you’re looking to take a little break out of the city have a look to visit here, it’s a really beautiful park. We didn’t stay for long to see the whole park but I saw that they offer a tour of the gardens and there is also a museum.

Where to Eat

Traditional Italian restaurants are all around of course, we were so spoilt for choice.  I expected the pizza and the pasta to be amazing and there was certainly no disappointment. For lunch, after we visited the Vatican we went to Maccarone, I ordered ‘Lasagna Di Macaroni Alla Bolognese’ and my boyfriend ordered a pizza. On their menu they have Italian food but also American dishes, if that’s what you fancy. For dinners we wandered and got lost down little streets and found the cutest traditional restaurants which offered big portion meals what were surprisingly inexpensive. There were so many ice cream stores, like Venchi for example, having ice cream every night is this girl’s dream!

Where to Stay

We were super lucky and got a place that was roughly in the middle between the Vatican and the city of Rome, the Hotel was called Hotel Isa. I would highly recommend finding a hotel that is not too far away from the places that you want to visit, walkable distances ideally. My boyfriend and I literally walked everywhere and had no need to order taxis which I imagine would be quite pricey in this area.

This was honestly one of my fav hotels I’ve stayed in! The buffet breakfast every morning was delicious and the roof-top relaxation area where they offered cocktails, little snacks and other drinks was amazing. The staff were so friendly, the waiter at the roof-top bar was the sweetest and remembered our regular orders.

I can’t wait for my next trip away, not sure where yet! If you have any recommendations please comment some.

Thank you for reading!

Ultimate Rome Travel Guide

Travelling to Rome was the best way to begin my travel adventures with my boyfriend as our first trip away together.

I have a 12H stellium consisting of Leo mars, …

I have a 12H stellium consisting of Leo mars, sun in cancer, Jupiter in cancer, and and mercury in cancer along with a Scorpio 4H moon. I struggle with finding who I really am and dissociate just about everyday. I usually feel like I’m dreaming and have a hard time connecting with absolutely everyone. What would you recommend??

Dreaming never hurt anyone.  It boosts your creativity.  With Jupiter in the 12th house you need to have faith your dreams have purpose and higher meaning.  Believe that they have a meaning and following them can bring you greater inner wellness.  Set time aside to meditate and contemplate what it is inside you that makes you feel most emotionally secure.  Take the faith and realize Who you are is a product of what actions you take.

Your 1st house ruler is in the 12th house so don’t be afraid to set aside some time to escape reality to make sense of it.  Recharge yourself often in isolation and do your “inner work” alone instead of being interfered by the energy of others.  The only way you’ll find out who you truly are is by trusting the universe and being undisturbed by the energy and thoughts of others.  That is why isolation and meditation help.

Listen to the inner calling and if you have to go as far as connecting with water to help do that with Cancer in the 12th house.  Bathe, shower, go into a soaking pool, river or beach in isolation to stimulate the feeling of floating free.  Stimulate your intuition this way.
